What’s in it for you

An ambulance’s siren is one of the most recognizable sounds in the world, don’t you think. In this project, you’ll be able to program your buzzer to replicate the sound in a few simple steps!

Tools of the trade

To be able to program your buzzer to play the ambulance sound, you’ll need some software and hardware devices :
  A laptop or computer
  GizmoBot hardware
  mBlock Version 3 software (ready for download here!)

At the end of the project

When you’ve completed all the steps in the project, you’ll have before you a buzzer that plays two sounds one of high frequency and one of low frequency playing alternatively.

You’ll also have timed the sounds to play at intervals as they do on a real ambulance.
